Accessibility

Every care has been made to make the app usable for anyone regardless of their computer or screen size. Since it is a browser-based service, all the processing is done on our servers and not on your client workstation.

To accommodate users with different screen sizes, the app automatically adjusts to fit your screen size and allows you to show more or less of each page by giving you the option to zoom in and out. Zooming in increases the size of text and charts while zooming out lets you show more information on your screen without scrolling.

The zoom function is browser-specific, but typically, you hold down the Ctrl key and press the Up or Down arrow keys or, alternatively, hold the Ctrl key down while using the scroll wheel on your mouse.

Most current browsers will remember the zoom settings from the last session.

The following keyboard accessibility features are available throughout the app:

  • In long dropdown lists, you can select a value by typing in the first few letters of the value and using the Enter key to select the value from the filtered list. You may also use the up and down arrows on the keyboard to move through the list and select a value.
  • When a grid row is selected for editing, you can use the Tab key to move to the following cell. Shift + Tab takes you back to the previous cell.
  • In most views, pressing Enter selects the default button.

When a zoom other than 100% is selected, you may have difficulty reordering columns in grids. To reorder columns, first change the zoom level to 100%.
The drag-and-drop functionalities on all the Pivot Grid pages also require that the zoom level is set to 100%.
