Activity Fields

This topic explains the meaning of each field on the All Activities page (fields are listed in alphabetical order).

The most commonly used fields are visible by default, arranged in a default order, but you can change the column visibility and order to your liking and then save the grid layout for future use. For more information about changing the appearance of the grids, please see Grids.

Additional Company AttachmentFile containing additional instructions for the contractor, provided by the company. This is typically used to provide details about problems for activity records that have a Status of "Submission Rejected". The attached file can be viewed by clicking the hyperlink. This is a read-only field.

Area
Area Unit
Size of the work location - for example 127.5 Acres. These are read-only fields. 
Company Attachment
File containing work instructions for the contractor, provided by the company. If there are multiple files they are combined into a single ZIP file. The attached file can be downloaded for a particular record by clicking the hyperlink, or downloaded for many records at once using the Export button (refer to the All Activities topic for details). This is a read-only field.
Company CommentsAny additional notes/remarks about the activity from the company forester. This is a read-only field.
Contractor AttachmentFile containing the deliverable for the work from the contractor. If there are multiple files they must be combined into a single ZIP file before attaching to the activity record. The attached file can be viewed by clicking the hyperlink. Refer to the All Activities topic for details about how to edit this field.
Contractor CommentsAny additional notes/remarks about the activity from the contractor. This is an optional field.
Contractor ID
Contractor Name
ID and Name of the contractor company that will perform the activity. These are read-only fields.
Values in the Contractor ID field are the basis for sharing activity records between organizations.
Created By
Created Date
ID of the user that created the record. This is a read-only field and is not visible by default.
Date/Time when the record was created. This is a read-only field and is not visible by default.
DateDate when the activity is scheduled to be performed. This is a read-only field.
ErrorsIndicates if there are problems with a completed activity, in which case the Status of the activity record will usually be "Submission Rejected", a short description of the problem can be viewed by hovering over the  icon, and details about the problem can be viewed in the Additional Company Attachment field. If there are no problems with the activity then a green checkmark displays for the record.Tip: this is an important field so you should make it the first column that is displayed in the grid. Refer to the Grids topic for details on how to reorder columns and save the grid layout.

Forester Phone
Name and contract details for the forester in the company that is responsible for the activity. These are read-only fields.
IDID of the activity record. This is a read-only field and is not visible by default.
Invoice NumberNumber on the invoice that the contractor submits to the company to get paid for the work performed. This is an optional field.
Location NameName of the location where the work is to be performed - for example “14N1E-N1/2 : 21”. This is a read-only field.
MethodIndicates how the activity is to be performed - for example “Variable”, “Fixed Plot”. This is a read-only field.
Modified By
Modified Date
ID of the last user to modify the record. This is a read-only field and is not visible by default.
Date/Time when the record was last updated. This is a read-only field and is not visible by default.
StatusStatus of the activity (and the activity record).  Values are as follows:
  • Prescribed: Activity has been assigned by the forest company and is ready for the contractor to work on.
  • Downloaded: Activity has been downloaded by the contractor. 
  • Completed: Contractor has finished the activity, and is waiting for the forest company to verify the deliverable for the work.
  • Submission Rejected: Forest company indicates that the deliverable for the work is not acceptable and must be revised and resubmitted by the contractor. See the Errors field for more information.
  • Submission Accepted: Forest company indicates that the deliverable for the work is acceptable.
SubtypeQualifies the activity Type (that is, makes it more specific) - for example “Post - Thinning”, “Maintenance”. This is a read-only field.
TypeDescribes the general type of activity to be performed - for example, “Cruising”. This is a read-only field.
